A press conference round was held inside the Bigg Boss 15 house and the members from the media fraternity got a special power to decide the Bottom 6 contestants of the show. This process ultimately resulted in the show getting its Top 5 of the season.
After a lot of discussion, the members of the media fraternity, who came from different reputed publications, decided based on majority the bottom 6 contestants of the show. The decision was taken on a majority basis (Bahumat).
As per the list Neha Bhasin, Simba Nagpal, Rajiv Adatia, Jay Bhanushali, Umar Riaz and Vishal Kotian became the bottom six contestants.

With this Bigg Boss 15 has got its Top 5 contestants and they are Karan Kundrra, Shamita Shetty, Tejasswi Prakash, Pratik Sehajpal and Nishant Bhat.
When the news of the bottom six contestants was announced. Umar looked a bit disappointed.
Media persons also informed the audience that the VIP access has been dissolved by Bigg Boss and now there are no VIP members.
As per sources, the bottom six contestants announced by the media will apparently be shown the door in the coming week and the reality show will see a reboot.
Apart from this, Bigg Boss 15 is all set to witness three wildcard entries Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Abhijeet Bhichukale. They were introduced by Salman Khan and Mahesh Manjrekar in the show.
